We take very seriously the well -being of your child and work hard to provide an environment that is as healthy as possible. We have very specific procedures and requirements concerning cleanliness and preventing the spread of germs.

Hand washing is the single most effective practice in preventing the spread of germs. Teachers are required to wash their own hands, as well as the hands of a child using described procedures, before and/or after engaging in a thorough list of activities.

Posh Tots Academy's staff is directed to thoroughly clean surfaces that children come in close contact on a daily basic. In addition bathroom surfaces, are to be disinfected with a bleach and water solution prescribed by the IL Department of Health. Toys that children put into their mouths are also required to be cleaned and disinfected between uses. Water Play tables must be disinfected before being filled with water and carefully supervised when in use.

The safety of children is the number one priority at Posh Tots Academy. In order to ensure their safety, the children WILL be supervised at all times. Teachers are responsible for safety in all  areas including the playground, the classroom, and hallways. Supervision requires physical presence, knowledge of children's needs, accountability for the care of the children and intervention when needed.

Posh Tots Academy is accessible via a single entry security door with a touch screen monitor. Each family is given a unique identification code to enter the facility. Our security cameras are motion sensitive and are not only monitoring the classroom but the entrance as well.
